The second half of this day of great light finds us traveling down the coast to Scarborough Beach, Camp Cronin, and up to Great Island before returning to the studio. We marvel at the patterns in the sand at Scarborough and the half-buried sculpture park at Camp Cronin. At this low tide, the zonation of the green and red algae on the jetty at Camp Cronin is spectacular (slide 12), as is the Equisetum on the edge of Great Island. Back at the studio, we shoot the cherry blossoms in their last week. | |
