November 14, 2002 . Narragansett, RI Went looking for algae at the Pier, but all that was to be found were fish and fishermen. With the blues running, thousands of small fish were swimming right at shore in tight schools. Seeing the fish filtered though the choppy water was spectacular, and the photographs of this scene (slides 5-10) are pretty cool as well. These photos remind us of the work of great impressionist painters, and we'd like to find some excuse to print these as postcards (or more). Later shots show a huge wall of drift at Scarborough South.
