  FieldCam

October 2002: Inspired by good weather, we made many field trips this month. In the field, we've begun to witness the change in the composition and prevalence of seaweeds as the water begins to cool down. We were also witness to the year's first Nor'easter (with surfers), a mass starfish stranding, and flourishing fungi. In the studio, we spent about a week experimenting with new ways to produce and preserve spore prints.
